Horsford Afternoon

What was your reaction when lockdown was announced? What have you missed most, apart from family & friends? What have you been doing? Have you learnt something new or unusual?Has lockdown been difficult or easy, could you get used to this way of life? What is the first thing you will do/like when life is back to normal?Anything else you'd like to say about your lockdown experience?
Oh this is going to be a scary time.Of course the WI meetings, going shopping, taking my grandchildren out; due to shielding going out for a walk with my husband. Our days went quite quick, we learnt how to do Pilates and did it daily, and had many laughs, we have increased our word vocabulary with lots of games of Scrabble.  As we are in a choir, we had lots of singing practice. As for lockdown being easy, it wasn't at times due to going to the hospital for treatment, and I realise we should all slow our lives down. I make a point of making 1 day a week I stay in, I potter and enjoy the pace of that day.I so miss going to Choir as a luv singing and the best was singing in the Centenary Choir at the Cathedral.I enjoyed it, the peace and quiet of less cars on the road and the fresher air quality.
