Campaign Cup
Public Affairs Campaign Cup Competition 2024-2025 ALBUM
Entrants to the competition are being encouraged to grow your own food in wildlife-friendly
gardens or other spaces and produce an A4 album that records your experiences over
the first year in no more than 12 pages plus a cover.
The album will consist of:
*** An introduction: Who is taking part and why you have decided to take part
*** The beginning: At least one photograph with a brief description of what your garden(s)/spaces looked like at the start
*** The middle: Halfway progress with photographs and a description to show progress.
*** The end: Your final photographs and description to show what difference you have made to
your space
*** Conclusion: What worked, what didn't and what you feel you have achieved and the impact on wildlife
In taking part in the competition your WI will aim to achieve at least 4 out of the 5 features of the national initiative to create a garden that is great for you and for wildlife:
1. Grow healthy food to eat.
2. Plant pollinator-friendly blooms.
3. Create a water feature.
4. Leave a patch of long grass or piles of logs.
5. Go chemical and peat free.
Submit your album to Evelyn Suffield House by 18th February 2025 for judging by the PA committee,
supported by eminent botanist, Richard Hobbs
The new PA Campaign Cup will be awarded at FAM 2025
