Repairs to Evelyn Suffield House – An Update!

The external repairs to the house are nearly completed, but internal works will be undertaken during August.  Staff will still be working, but the House  AND  car park will be closed from Monday 3rd August, reopening Tuesday 1st September.

Bridge Taster Day for Beginners

If you like playing cards, why not come and join our friendly group and learn to play bridge.

Gift Aid Training

The Independent Financial Examiners invite you to a Gift Aid Training workshop, at ESH on Thursday 22nd October 10.30-12.30 or 2-4.  This is a free event but you will need to apply for a ticket.  Please click here to open the form

The Federation is holding a Pre-Loved Craft De-Stash Sale on 17th October to raise fund, and we would absolutely love you to give us your good quality, unused, unwanted - but still lovely - crafting treasures a second life in the hands of fellow makers.  Further details of suitable items can be found here

Denman College in Marcham, Oxfordshire, was a wonderful resource for members for the past 70 years and many were sad at its closure in 2020.  The good news is that the Learning Hub took its place in January 2024, and in February 2026 it has again been upgraded and is now known as VIA.  If you struggle to use it, or would like more help please come along to a future Get Comfortable Online workshop or contact the Digitial Training Team

The Theatre have set the discount for group bookings of 10 people or more.  If you don’t have sufficient numbers for your WI, you could join with another WI to meet the magic number, or NNOS could help get special dispensation: if you find you can’t get 10+, let the office know.
