I will be demonstrating how to temper chocolate and make swirled salted caramel chocolates and also an Easter egg. | £3 |
Tue 23rd | 7 pm | History | Letter Box Talk – Paul Snelling Paul is the Information Officer for the Letter Box Study Group. A former Royal Mail employee he became interested when employed to look after 600 boxes in West Sussex. Probably his most notable exploit was whilst being interviewed for television he demonstrated to the presenter how to cuddle a pillar box to determine its type He will take us through the history and various types of letter box the 50 plus all of the manufacturers or all 880 plus variations. | £3 |
Tue 30th | 3 pm | Gardening![]() | Ben Cross – British Flowers Rock Ben is a 4th generation grower at Crosslands Flower Nursery which was established in 1936 in West Sussex, it is one of the last flower nurseries producing cut flowers in a full colour range all year-round. Next to being a fulltime grower, Ben is an avid campaigner for British Flowers and takes any opportunity he can to spread the word that British Flowers Rock!. Ben won the Grower Award in 2019 and he also won the Gold Sussex Environmental award in 2020 | £3 |
