Our WI members have been busy again knitting, crocheting and quilting blankets so that they can be given out to patients. ScraptasticThis quilt was made from recycled material by members of our WI as part of the local TwinTracks upcycling event. The quilt is on display in Briston Church from 12th to 17th September 2023. |
Briston Village Gala June 2023Briston & Melton Constable WI – Our WI members have been busy baking cakes, scones, jams, marmalades and biscuits, as well as potting up plants and picking fruit & veg for our fundraiser at the Briston Village Gala that was held on 24th June. It was a hot day and was well supported by members. This fundraiser helps us support our local chosen charity this year – Rebecca’s wishes. |
