Walking Team

Walks take place from the Spring until Autumn.  These are nature rambles, woodlands for bluebells or historical tours in Norwich.  We have followed in the footsteps of the Paston Family and toured the 'Colman's' area.  A visit to The Rosary Cemetery revealed memorials to many well known families and how some were linked through marriage.  Zig-Zag over the Wensum is also interesting.  These walks mean we can enjoy each others company in small groups, in addition to the monthly meetings.

Luncheon Club

Ladies of the Old Costessey WI enjoy eating out, so it seemed a sensible idea to form a Luncheon Club.  Every month, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, we enjoy a visit to a local 'hostelry'.  We select a different venue each time.  We choose places that are not too costly and the food is to our liking,  We look forward to our outings which are relaxed social occasions, where there is much chatter and laughter.

Darts Team

We have an established Darts Team who meet locally in The Bush public house in Costessey every Monday, to practice and enjoy lunch together.
