About Us

Brundall Evening WI

Brundall Evening WI was formed in 1966 and we meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at Brundall Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm. We currently have 40 members.

We try to have a range of speakers, which have in recent years, covered topics as varied as the work of ACWW, the "Herring Girls",  the "Science of Sleep", Norfolk Knitters, making brilliant scones, cheese making, flower arranging and even a face yoga demonstration! As we expect with WI,  we have some wonderful food and entertainment at our Christmas and summer social events .

A group of us meet regularly  for a walk (and coffee as well if possible!) and we also have a small Book Club meeting about 10 times a year, when we discuss a wide range of books.  We also have a knitting group. We hold occasional coffee and cake mornings to raise funds.

Each year we have a variety of outings and visits, including a trip on the River Deben, the National Stud at Newmarket and the Theatre Royal.

Like all WIs we take time to discuss the national shortlisted resolutions.

If you would like to join us, do come along to Brundall Memorial Hall to one of our meetings.  Here is a brief summary of our 2018 programme.
