about us
Cringleford WI is a large and thriving WI with a current membership of around 50. We meet at 7.30pm on the second Monday of the month in Cringleford Church Hall, Newmarket Road, Cringleford, NR4 6UE. Our August meeting is an informal tea party where in true WI fashion we enjoy home-made cakes.
All our meetings start with a short amount of business, followed by a varied programme of visiting speakers, quizzes and competitions.
As well as these monthly meetings we meet together for various activities - Book Club, Craft Group, Bus Pass Safari Group, Walkers (both strollers and striders), and enjoy theatre visits and outings.
The annual subscription covers the cost of a free quarterly magazine, WI Life, which contains craft ideas, recipes, health, travel, letters, campaigns, book reviews and puzzles.
We welcome women over the age of 16 years to come along and join us. Why not contact our Secretary, Mrs Berry Catchpole, 01603 259313 and come along for a taster visit.
