May meeting and almost halfway through the year, how time flies!
Resolutions Night, the usual business was dealt with, then it was time for the final discussion of the two resolutions which will be going forward to the National AGM next month. The vote was taken and it was agreed that both would go forward.
Refreshment time and a surprise for the members expecting tea and cake. Instead there was a choice of cheeses and pate served with crackers and soft drinks, prepared by the committee.
After the break everyone settled back at the tables to find there was a game of Hoi, who would have thought this could be so competitive, and bring so much laughter. As the evening was coming to a close. Birthday posies were presented to members with birthdays in May and Happy Birthday was sung. The raffle which had a yellow and green theme (honouring Norwich’s success)was drawn. Winner of the competition (An Embroidered Flower) was Linda.
Another evening of fun and friendship. Competition for June is an Unusual Scarf. Our visitor is Eleanor who will be demonstrating Bellydancing, you will be able to join in so bring your dancing shoes. Date June 11th Village hall start 7:30pm.
