About Us

We are a well-established Women's Institute, formed in November 1938.  We currently have 34 members and meet on the second Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall – originally the Village School.

Every month we invite a guest speaker to join us or we plan an activity that gets our members talking together.  Our speakers cover a wide range of subjects and, hopefully, there is something to appeal to everyone.  Our refreshments are legendary with the trolley laden with various sandwiches, pastry savouries and, of course, delicious cakes!

As well as our meetings we have a monthly lunch club held at a variety of local venues and an entertainment club with outings to local films, shows and dramas.

We are always happy to welcome new members and visitors – so come along and meet us all.
