Christmas Events
In November Simon White of Peter Beales Roses demonstrated making Christmas Door Wreaths to our members . A delightful array brightened our meeting and encouraged us all to make our own this year. Our competition for Decorated Christmas Shortbread was won by Jan Wassel, 2nd Pat Holdcroft and 3rd Hazel Gillingham. The Annual Meeting followed at which a new committee was elected with Margaret Herbert being elected as President.
The past committee were thanked for all the work they have done over several years, and retiring President, Sandra Vellam, was presented with a bouquet of roses.
We had a good Coffee Morning with various delights, from cheese scones and sausage rolls, to a beautiful array of homemade cakes. We are delighted to share the profits with the Methodist Centre.
Unfortunately the Festive Market was cancelled so there are a lot of Christmas parcels waiting to be won which will be stored away for another day.
